The
Irish Seal Sanctuary
Tiny Tiger is a young Grey Seal who entered our lives when
she was only a couple of weeks old. One morning just before
the Ryder Cup, Sean Bermingham of Sea Road, Arklow was walking
on the beach with his dog Dorcha and came upon what he thought
was a Labrador dog. Nope, it was a baby seal. Abandoned
by her mother, she earned a trip to the Seal sanctuary where
she could grow big and strong with the other orphaned and
injured pups of the season. And grow big she did. A little
white bundle of fuzz with big eyes and an attitude became
a big grey lump of blubber with big eyes and an attitude!
We’ll miss her sunny disposition and we wish her all
the best in her future plans.
