The
Award of Science Excellence
This year, in conjunction with the
Discover Primary Science Programme, St. Joseph’s has
applied for an Award of Science Excellence. Spearheaded
by the two Fifth Classes this involves many children throughout
the school taking part in many science activities, experiments,
projects and visits. The Discover Primary Science Programme
is managed by Forfas on behalf of the Office of Science
& Technology at the Department of Enterprise Trade &
Employment. The programme aims to develop creativity in
our children, show them how important science is to our
everyday lives and more importantly how much fun it can
be!
