of the Raffle - Thursday 29th. March 2007.

With last year’s money we finished
off the computer room. We have networked 30 computers which
are now used by your children. We continue to buy licensed
networked software for use on these computers. If anyone
would like to come in and see our completed computer room
please give me a ring at 32984 and we will arrange a viewing.
Keep up to date with school events by visiting us on www.iosef.ie
We
fenced off and levelled the school field which is now enjoyed
by all.
This
Summer we will replace windows at a cost of €35,000
with the school providing 10% of funding and 90% by Government
Grant through the Summer Work Scheme.
We
are currently upgrading some of the toilets with painting,
new fittings, and tiles.
We
continue to expand the class libraries and graded reading
schemes.
Sports
equipment is being continuously upgraded and we are embarking
on fitting out the sports storage room in school at a cost
of €2,700 . We have received a grant of €2,000
with the €700 being provided from school funds.
We
installed extra C.C.T.V. cameras for the safety of your
children and the school.
Any
money raised from the raffle will fund school projects and
continue to keep up the school’s high standards. Another
area we are embarking on this year is expansion of maths
materials for the school.
Enclosed
please see 4 books of tickets which we hope you will be
able to purchase or sell. We will, of course, have extra
tickets for people to sell. The more we sell the more we
can provide for your children.
